Environmental Health Services (EHS) helps to protect the public by supporting safe operations for businesses and facilities regulated by San Mateo County Health. This may include permits, inspections, plan reviews, complaint response and technical guidance for businesses such as food facilities, pools, body art facilities, housing and other regulated settings. These services help businesses meet health and safety standards while protecting residents, workers and visitors.
