Public Health, Policy & Planning
San Mateo County Health’s Mobile Clinic offers walk-in care for San Mateo County residents 18 and older who don’t have another way to get care, including people experiencing homelessness, farmworkers and their families, and people who are uninsured. Residents who have insurance or a primary care provider, should contact their health plan or care provider about their need for care.
Delivered via a motor coach with an exam room, the Mobile Clinic provides care for urgent and chronic medical needs, while helping patients connect to mental health and specialty care services as needed. With services limited to underserved communities, the Mobile Clinic does not accept private insurance, and in some cases charges fees for its services.
