In response to West Nile Virus (WNV), San Mateo County Health’s role is to investigate confirmed or suspected cases in residents to determine the source of the infection and report the information to Vector Control.
San Mateo County residents can report biting mosquitoes by calling San Mateo County Mosquito and Vector Control at 650-344-8592 or by submitting a service request online.
Residents can report dead birds to the state hotline at 877-968-2473 or submit a dead bird report online.
