If your animal was attacked by another animal, call Peninsula Humane Society at 650-340-8200.
The division enforces all animal control laws, shelters homeless animals and provides a variety of other services. These services include rescuing injured animals, capturing stray animals, investigating animal bites and attacks, removing deceased animals from public property and enforcing leash laws and local ordinances. Additionally, the division manages breeder and fancier permits, quarantine requirements and promotes responsible pet ownership through public education initiatives.

The County contracts with the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (PHS), a private non-profit organization, to enforce all animal control laws, shelter homeless animals, and provide a variety of other services.
