Mobile Clinic

General information
Mobile Clinic

The Mobile Clinic offers walk-in care for San Mateo County residents 18 and older who don’t have another way to get care, including people experiencing homelessness, farmworkers and their families, and people who are uninsured. Residents who have insurance or a primary care provider, should contact their health plan or care provider about their need for care.

With services limited to underserved communities, the Mobile Clinic does not accept private insurance, and in some cases charges fees for its services.

Clinic services to qualifying patients are offered on a first-come, first-served basis with the last patient check in generally 30 minutes before clinic end time and include:

  • Urgent care: illness and injury treatment
  • Screenings: STIs, blood pressure, blood sugar checks, tuberculosis

*Note that TB placements may have time limits depending on the day to allow for readings at site within the necessary 48-72 hour window

  • Adult vaccinations based on availability
  • Adult school/work physicals: physical forms are required
  • Referrals and information for mental health services
  • Needle exchange
  • Bridge to primary care
  • Emergency services are not available: call 911 in an emergency
