Behavioral Health & Recovery Services
All Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Service vendors must comply with policies and guidance from the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). Official updates to DHCS policies are issued in the form of a Behavioral Health Information Notice (BHIN). Updates can include changes to Medi-Cal coverage, service delivery, reporting, funding, and program compliance.
