Emergency Medical Services
The San Mateo County EMS Agency develops and submits required system plans to the California Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA), including the comprehensive EMS system plan, annual updates and specialty-care system plans for trauma, STEMI and stroke. This page also includes the Agency’s quality-improvement program documents and annual EMS system overview reports. Beginning with the 2023 EMS System Plan, EMSA-approved specialty-care plans are incorporated into the system plan.
