The agency develops the county’s Area Plan for Aging, which sets priorities and strategies for services that help seniors remain independent and engaged in their communities. The AAA plans, funds and monitors local programs such as nutrition services, transportation, caregiver support and case management. It also advocates for policies that improve the quality of life for older adults and caregivers.
