Face Coverings/Masking: CDPH has updated its guidance to align with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The guidance is available here.

Private Venues and Events Guidance: CDPH has published online guidance for private venues and events, which are distinguished from gatherings with defined guest lists and assigned seating and capacity limitations based on testing or vaccination status. The guidance is available here.
Indoor Seated Live Events and Performances Guidance: CDPH also published online guidance for indoor seated live events and performances. The guidance outlines conditions for indoor seated live events and entertainment with audiences to support a safe environment for workers and attendees. The guidance is available here.
Gatherings Guidance: CDPH issued guidance for gatherings, which also applies to private gatherings. These events are social situations that bring together people from different households at the same time in a single space. Attendance for gatherings is based on county tier status for the Blueprint for a Safer Economy, unless local health departments have more restrictive guidance. This guidance assumes that not all guests are fully vaccinated. The guidance is available here.
Guidance for Fully Vaccinated Persons: CDPH also issued guidance for fully vaccinated persons. The guidelines apply to people two weeks after full vaccination, and includes spending time with other fully vaccinated persons (including indoors) without wearing masks or physically distancing, spending time with unvaccinated persons from a single household who are at low risk, and refraining from quarantine and testing following a known exposure if asymptomatic. Places of Worship Guidance: CDPH updated its industry guidance for places of worship and cultural ceremonies. The updated guidance is accessible here under the “Places of Worship and Cultural Ceremonies” section.
Schools Outlook: CDPH recently posted an outlook for the 2021-22 Academic Year to assist K-12 schools prepare for fully reopening in-person instruction. The outlook provides an overview of steps taken in the last year and highlights key steps, including testing and vaccines, that will help schools plan and prepare for in-person instruction this fall. Special Health Needs Guidance: CDPH published an update to its “Tips and Resources for Family Members and Caregivers of Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs” which was originally published in April 2020. The updated information is available here.
Adult Day Program Guidance: The CDSS Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) today issued PIN 21-21-ASC detailing CCLD support for adult day programs to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic and providing information on COVID-19 vaccinations.
Vaccine Access Guidance: CDSS CCLD also issued PIN 21-21-ASC providing further information about how adult and senior care residential facility licensees, facility staff, and residents can access the COVID-19 vaccine.
