Visit the library this month to view our special exhibition in
recognition of Mental Health Month.
In honor of Mental Health Month, we host this exhibition
introducing some inspiring “recovery champions!” A Day in the
Life of Recovery is a traveling photojournalism exhibit from
Momentum for Mental Health, sharing the stories of real people
who have been diagnosed with a mental illness or a substance use
disorder, and have gone through tough times, and yet come out the
other side stronger than ever. The individuals profiled are
tough, resilient, and so much more than their diagnoses.
In keeping with the objectives of Mental Health Month, the
exhibit aims to bring mental illness and substance use out of the
shadows and to encourage frank conversation about mental health
wellness and recovery.
