Physical Activity Guidelines

We all need to engage in different types of physical activities to help us stay healthy and strong. Different age groups and populations have different cardio, muscle-strengthening and bone-strengthening needs. These physical activity guidelines were developed based on U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' guidelines. Health and social service providers can use these to help their clients and families to safely increase their physical activity levels. Some guidelines can be found in multiple languages.
