Note: Legal immigration status is not required to access free or low cost health insurance in San Mateo County. If you have private insurance that does not cover mental health or substance use services for the care required for your treatment, you may still qualify for public health coverage. Individuals who do not qualify for coverage may still be eligible for services through other resources.
