Event: Badminton
Date: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursday @ 7:30 -10:00 PM
Location: South San Francisco High School Gym, 400 B Street, South San Francisco
Description: A racket sport very similar tennis, Badminton is great for all ages.  This is a social group and court fees are $3 per evening. For more information, please contact Al at millenium_fiddler@yahoo.com.

 

Event: Yoga

Location: Magnolia Center, 601 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco
Description: Yoga, a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline, has been proven to lower blood pressure and increase strength and flexibility. Yoga energizes the body and calms the mind.  This class targets older adults and seniors, if you have any questions please call 650-829-3820.

 

Event: Women's Aikido Introductory Class (martial arts)
Date: 1st Thursday of the month @ 7:30 PM
Location: 1405 Huntington Ave., Unit B., South San Francisco
Description: Aikido techniques emphasizes redirecting and neutralizing the force of an attack, rather than inflicting harm. By moving in harmony, one is able to unbalance and apply various forms of controls and throws to defend oneself.
